Why is everyone laughing?
I have a problem with translation of Tamod/Tamud. Translated to English, tamod means schedule, appreciate, follow. But when I used it in a sentence people laughed and said it meant something like dirty sperm. If anyone can explain I would appreciate it. I hope no one takes offense. Is there a mistake somewhere?

hi, I think Tamod is not sperm, in cebuano, Tamod is used but in different cases
for example ins english " You can based on this" so if you will translate in cebuano, It is saying that Pwede ka magtamod ani, or you say Pwede ni nimo basihan, but both are correct, depende lng kung unsa-on paggamit sa word nga tamod.
