Why is everyone laughing?

I have a problem with translation of Tamod/Tamud. Translated to English, tamod means schedule, appreciate, follow. But when I used it in a sentence people laughed and said it meant something like dirty sperm. If anyone can explain I would appreciate it. I hope no one takes offense. Is there a mistake somewhere?

tamod

From my understanding, tamod means sperm, I have never heard it used to mean 'follow' in Cebuano. I looked in the dictionary here and see where you got it, but I think it may be a typo? The closest to 'tamod' I can think of is 'tahod', which is more 'to obey' than 'to follow'.

To follow after, is 'sunod' in most cases.
