Acccording to Philippine language scholars, it is "Sebuano" and not the commonly used "Cebuano" that should have been used to refer to the language spoken and "Cebuano" for the speakers of the language. But who are these Philippine linguists? I am really having a hard time looking for them through the net.

But recent studies in linguistics , especially in Cebuano language, refers to it as Sebuano. I just could not remember who is that Filipino language scholar who said that. Grrr.. i need it pa naman for my thesis...
