This is a message from my pinay girlfriend to her sister regarding her family's money problems that I've been helping with. The 5400php was supposed to be for their electricity bill, but when I tried to translate the message myself there doesn't seem to be any mention of electricity bill and it seems she just gave the money as a handout to her brother. Is that right?

[Ho hum]... I'm irritated here with the way things are going on at home.  Your mother is complaining again saying there's no rice and no viand and no money for fare.  She feels she is shouldering all the expenses.  Really, where would she be now if indeed she were paying everything on her own?  In fact, a moment ago, I had [brother] pay over P5,400.00 for the light (electricity) consumption for the whole month and I paid for the water too.  She complained that she would die.  The problems at home she broadcasts to other people, complaining that she is being neglected.  I'm so peeved.
