Fil-Am girl here looking for a language partner to practice Bisaya/Cebuano.

Hey everyone,

My family is from Leyte but I was born and grew up in the States. I am looking for someone who could help me practice my Bisaya. I understand about 40% of conversations in Bisaya, but I have no idea how to form complete sentences. If anyone is interested in making friends by speaking Bisaya, I would gladly welcome it.

My e-mail address is csm2109 (at) gmail.com -- please feel free to send me a note!

Looking forward to speaking with you.

Camille

ya hafta speak it

hi camille,
if you really want to develop fluency in Cebuano, you need to speak the language daily, or at least regularly.
writing, texting in Cebuano, can only help your written skills, but the accent, intonation, ug ang bundak dili nimo makuha pinaagi sa pagsuwat.
it's the same with any other language.
find a Cebuano, and ask her to help you.
