New to Cebuano
So, this may seem strange, but I have no Filipino decent whatsoever. I am an American, but I have visited Mindanao twice in the last two years and made many wonderful friends there. The Philippines is a beautiful country. On my last trip to Mindanao in April, I asked some of my friends there to teach me to say some phrases in Cebuano. I became interested in learning the Cebuano dialect so that when I go back I can understand more of the language :)

I will try to translate your english sentence. One you should remember there are Cebuano words might not be commonly used in the you want to visit next time but im sure they will understand those words. Why im sharing this? because commonly used words spoken to a Cebuano speaker will usually meet with a big smile that sometimes some non-native speakers oftenly misqouted as an insult to you or sounds degrading or something negative.
